The Kabalega Education and Innovation Fund (KEI Fund) operates through a sustainable and impact-driven model designed to empower underprivileged individuals through education, life skills, and innovation. Here’s how it works:
How Kabalega Education & Innovation Fund works?
1. Building a Sustainable Fund
It all starts with generous contributions into the fund. The collections from donations and individual contributions are saved into a Unit trust, which in return generates profit to support education and innovation development while ensuring continued sustainability of the fund.
2. Identifying and Supporting Beneficiaries
We work closely with local leaders, schools, and communities to identify bright, underprivileged individuals—especially children from disadvantaged backgrounds, youth, women, and persons with disabilities—who can benefit from our programs.
3. Delivering Transformational Programs
The Fund supports three core areas:
(i) Educational Support – Scholarships, school fees, and learning materials.
(ii) Skills & Talent Development – Vocational training, entrepreneurship, and creative skills programs.
(iii) Innovation Support – Incubating community-based solutions and youth-led enterprises that address real-world challenges.
4. Monitoring and Measuring Impact
We track progress and success stories through regular evaluations, ensuring that each intervention brings measurable improvements in livelihoods, learning outcomes, and community resilience.
